This breeding has a great deal of potential as both of these dogs are very, VERY nice. Since Piper is from a primarily sable bloodline, I will probably be breeding her to sables for most of her litters.

This may end up being Broker's last litter as he is now 11.5 years old and we are running out of girls to use him with.

Broker has fullness of muzzle, length of leg, and substance of bone that Piper needs, and Piper has the shorter back and shorter head that Broker needs.  We should also end up with some very outgoing attitudes and LOTS of personality!

This is a Sable (tri-factored) & Tricolor (bi-factored) litter.

To explain these colors, here is a quick Mendelian square representing the litter:
S = Sable, t = tricolor, b = bicolor 
(S is dominant, t & b are recessive but t is dominant over b)
Broker is a bi-factored Sable (Sb) and Piper is a Tricolor (tt)

Therefore, theoretically we would get 1/2 tri-factored sables (St)
& 1/2 bi-factored tricolors (tb) in the litter.

The little girl has been grown out here, she is very pretty and reminds me a great deal of her mother, the boys all went to pet homes.
