In very limited showing, Stoney made a big dent in the points required for his AKC Championship, as well as he won his UKC Championship in one weekend! Stoney also sired some gorgeous puppies... He is one who definitely gave longer necks and tails and also helped to shorten backs, give nice clean back sculls, pretty eyes and nice tight ear sets.
Stoney was very close to finishing his championship when he died. Unfortunately, on 1/24/09, after having won 2 more points towards his AKC Championship, he was attacked by another dog and as a result we had to make the difficult decision to put him down. His injuries were just too severe for him to make a meaningful recovery. (chances of survival were VERY small, and he would have lost a leg at the very least)
Stoney's death broke our hearts, both Dori's and mine and he is absolutely irreplaceable.
