Born July 18, 2000. TJ is the boy I never intended to buy. I had absolutely no plans to bring home a boy until Corki passed. Well, as everyone knows, things never work as we plan. I was on my way home from Massachusetts after my sister's wedding and stopped at Nadine Iroff's (Triumph Shelties) home to pick up "Teddy" (CH Kaltrav King of Diamonds) who my mom was to take back to Wisconsin. Well, she had these gorgeous puppies that she was looking for show homes for. Somehow, I managed to grab the boy, whom Nadine was calling "JR" (for Teddy Junior) and Mom decided to take the tricolor girl, Diamond. Both are great pups and have a lot of promise.
As for the change of name... I didn't like the name J.R. so I decided to change it. "TJ" just kind of rolled off my tongue one day and it stuck... I had actually decided on his registered name before I ever left Nadine's with him. His markings give him the illusion of being off balance, when in actuality he has a wonderful head, exceptional shoulder and solid movement.
TJ hasn't been out in the show ring a lot because he needed some extra time to "grow up." He is now a very handsome and mature adult and will be hitting the ring as much as we can. With any luck, we will get some more points on this boy and maybe even finish soon!
TJ is standing at stud to approved bitches.
