This 15.5" girl is one I received from a very good friend, on co-ownership,
when she moved away and wasn't able to take her dogs with her. I think I
got a wonderful addition to my breeding program in the process. She had a
beautiful body, good attitude, solid movement and that Apple Acres elegance that
is so prized nowadays. Unfortunately, when nursing her second litter of
puppies, Wolfie suffered from an extreme case of eclampsia when they were about
2.5 weeks old. Her temperature skyrocketed to 109F which put her into
liver, kidney and pancreatic failure and decimated her platelet count. We
did the humane thing and let her go peacefully. Fortunately her legacy
will live on in her offspring.
Wolfie will be greatly missed and will always be remembered in our hearts and in her puppies.
